The biggest event of the year is our city's 4th of July and Sertoma is proud to be the organizer for the past 40 years. Celebrating America will be the theme this year as we pay tribute to our American freedom.

Wanna ride 5 miles or 100 miles on one of the most incredible bike rides in Texas? For the past 20 years, Sertoma has been a proud organizer of this fun spring event that draws up to 1,000+ riders and benefits youth scholarships and advocacy for children.

We currently have 120 Georgetown businesses majestically flying flags in front of their locations. Your business can receive a 3' x 5' American flag to be mounted and dismounted on all 7 patriotic holidays.

Serteens is open to all service-focused freshman through senior high school students. Serteens decides on a community project at the beginning of the year. Scholarships and Essay Contests are awarded.

Sertoma rings the bell for the Salvation Army -literally. We join the Salvation Army by volunteering from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Proceeds go to the Salvation Army. Click the Contact tab above to join and for more information.

Sertoma works with the Georgetown's Child Advocacy Center. The proceeds from the Red Poppy Bike Ride are donated to this great organization that does so much for our children.

STEPPING OUT FOR A CURE for Children's Cancer Research raises awareness and money through The Million Mile program. Held every September, our Sertoma team logged more miles than any other team in the nation. That's 1500 teams!

The mission of the Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in Olympic sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Sertoma volunteers to work with their events.

The Mission of The Caring Place is to provide for the basic human needs of all people in our community in a welcoming, respectful, and caring way. When there is a need, Sertoma is there to volunteer!

This feeling of pride and freedom is due (in large part) to a program by the Georgetown SERTOMA Club.
An American flag flying majestically in front of your business is a highly visible sign of your patriotic spirit. We currently have over 120 Georgetown businesses participating and we’d like you to join us in our community’s display of our patriotic spirit!
As a participant in the Georgetown SERTOMA Flag Program, you will receive a 3' x 5'-foot flag that will be mounted and dismounted by SERTOMA members on each of the following national holidays:

It doesn’t get any easier to show your COUNTRY PRIDE!!! You get all this for a minimal annual subscription. The SERTOMA Flag Program proceeds support:
- Hearing Aids for needy youth, veterans and seniors
- College Scholarships for graduating GISD students
- National Heritage Essay Contest Awards for GISD students
If you prefer to display the flag every day or just additional special days, we can provide a flag that you can display as many days a year as you choose. Sertoma will continue to maintain the flag as required.
The tax-deductible donation is $85 per year for the standard 9 display days and $110 per year for the year-round option. Click DONATION/PAYENTS tab above to make a payment.
